Following the General Election and Ed Miliband's resignation as the leader of the Labour party, the race for Number 10 has been replaced by a race to become Leader of the Opposition.
These races show incredible similarities. Indeed, anyone watching the Newsnight debate could easily have been convinced that rather than being between four Labour MPs, it was between representatives from the Conservatives, the Lib Dems, UKIP and the Greens.
